FISH Proteins

Structural proteins make up the contractile apparatus responsible for muscle movement. The amino-acid composition is roughly similar to corresponding proteins in mammalian muscle, although the physical properties can differ slightly.

Characteristic Anatomical Features

A typical fish is torpedo-shaped, with a head containing a brain and sensory organs, a trunk with a muscular wall surrounding a cavity containing the internal organs, and a muscular post-anal tail. Most fish propel themselves through the water by weaving movements of their bodies and control their direction by means of the fins fin, organ of locomotion characteristic of fish and consisting of thin tissue supported by cartilaginous or bony rays.

Fish RNA

DNA PCR products provide a range of testing options for the qualitative detection of Fish Species, at a time when global fish stocks are critically debated and there is rising concern over the authenticity of samples.
